I am actually big fan of Scone. However, my entire family likes this light flaky biscuit for breakfast/brunch. I have used store brought buttermilk. I haven't tried with wheat flour so if anyone tries (tried) pls. share your version too.

baking powder - 2 tablespoons
Butter (Cold) - 1/2 cup (113g)
buttermilk - 1 cup + 2 tablespoons (chilled)
melted butter - 2 tablespoons for greasing
salt to taste (I have added 1 teaspoon)

Take flour in a bowl. Grate butter into the flour. Chill it for 10 mins
Make a well. Add buttermilk and fold it to get a sticky dough

Cut with your favorite cutter. Arrange it in butter paper

Enjoy with butter, Jam!
