Sathu Maavu ladoo recipe - Multi grain healthy ladoo recipe - Sathu Maavu Laddu Recipe - Diwali sweet recipe - Naivedyam recipe

I wanted to try this ladoo from the time I had posted Sathu maavu kanji. Since no one eats sweet at home I kept postponing it. No other time apt for making sweet than this festival season. My mum gave me homemade sathu maavu when I visited her last week. Since I had fresh maavu and palm Jaggery I decided to try out for this year Diwali /  Deepavali. Fresh ingredients does make lot of difference.Millet base recipes like this with palm sugar makes it less guilt free sweet (At least personally that's how I felt)
Sathu mavvu / Multi grain flour - 1 cup
Ghee - 4 tablespoon or as required
Palm Sugar/ Karupatti - 1/3 cup
Cardamom - 2
Cashew - 1 teaspoon


Run Palm sugar and cardamom in a blender. Keep it aside
Heat pan with 2 teaspoon of ghee and fry cashews till brown. Remove it
In same pan roast the flour till nice aroma released. Add Sugar and mix welll 
Heat Ghee and add ghee little by little to flour and sugar mixture. Add Cashew
Mix well 
Add Ghee till you can hold it in the hand. Now make ladoo of your preferred size
