Cauliflower Tofu Rice - Healthy Tofu recipes - breakfast, lunch, dinner recipes - low carb, high protein dish

This is one of my most favourite low carb and high protein dish. I do this so often that every time I think of taking pics the next time I do it. Finally I made a point to take pic (esp after I shared this recipe with couple of people and they really loved it and told me that they have searched in the blog but cannot find it. so decided to do it) I have posted this with Tofu if you don't have tofu you can use Paneer reduce the qty of paneer and increase green chillies if you are using Paneer
Ingredients:

Grated Cauliflower - 2 cup
Grated Tofu - 3/4 cup
Small onion - 7-10 (slice it)
Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Green chillies - 2 (chopped finely)
Oil- 2 teaspoon
mustard seeds - 1/4 teaspoon
Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
Urad dhal - 1 teaspoon
Bengal gram dal - 1 teaspoon
Curry leaves - 10 leaves
salt to taste
Coriander leaves - 1 tablespoon (finely chopped)


Method:

Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds. Let it pop. Add urad dal, bengal gram, green chillies and curry leaves. Fry till brown color. Add onion and fry till transparent
Add cauliflower, Tofu, Turmeric powder & Salt and close it with lid and cook for 5 mins at low flame. Increase flame and cook for another 2 mins. Switch it off. Add Coriander leaves.
