Panchamirtham recipe - Panjamirtham - Panchamrut recipe - Pooja Recipe - Naivedyam recipe

Panchamirtham - During my school days, I got Palani panchamirtham. I was not aware of the goodness of it. So far, I have never tried homemade panchamirtham before. I have tasted this at one of my friend's place recently and loved the taste (in fact, I tasted it after almost 10 years) I took the recipe from her. It is made with 5 different ingredients. If you have banana it is so simple to make and most gods love it. It's a perfect naivedyam recipe for busy/working women. Do try this out and let me know the taste. Edible camphor (Pachai karpooram) gives a unique taste to the dish and I love it. Using your hand to mash gives best taste

Banana - 2 (I have used medium size)
Honey - 1 tablespoon
Ghee - 1 teaspoon
Dates - 2 (roughly chopped into pieces)
Jaggery - 2-3 tablespoon
Edible camphor - very small size
Sugar candy - 1 teaspoon

Take the peeled and chopped banana. Mash it finely.
Add rest of ingredients except sugar candy. Mix well and mash it well.
Add sugar candy  & Edible Camphor
Your Panchamirtham is ready! Pray to god with it and get blessings! Enjoy.
