Sweet Potato Kulambu - Sweet Potato Kuzhambu recipe - Kulambu / Sambar recipes - Vegetarian gravy - Lunch Recipes - Party Recipes

I never thought of making Puli kulambu / Kara Kuzhambu with Sweet potato till I had tasted this in one of buffet at Chennai ITC hotel. It was a perfect blend of flavours.  I immediately added to my list of things to try. When I made it my entire family loved it. Sweet potato with Sambar powder & tamarind tasted amazing. I have used homemade sambar powder. Any curry powder will work. I have used Sesame oil for seasoning. It goes well with hot steamed rice. Orange sweet potato works well for this.
