Hot Milk Cake Recipe - Milk Cake recipe - Eggless baking

I tasted milk cake when I was in Brazil and it was so soft that I w pretty sure it had egg. I do eat cake and chocolate with egg but not too much egg. I do not cook or bake egg at home (so far at least). I was looking for  eggless milk cake recipe. I saw this in home baker guild. I modified it to my taste. It came out very soft and moist.. I did 50% wheat / 50% all purpose flour. It came out pretty good. Do try out
All purpose flour-3/4 cup
Wheat flour / Atta - 3/4 cup
Baking soda - 1 pinch
Salt a pinch
baking powder - 1.5 teaspoon
Granulated Sugar-1 cup
Yogurt - 1/3 cup or No Egg for 3 eggs or Flex egg (I have used No Egg)

Milk - 1 cup (I have used full fat)
Butter - 1/4 cup
Vanilla essence - 2 teaspoon


Sift All purpose flour, Wheat flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Grease baking tray with butter. and dust it with flour. Keep it aside. 

In a pan take milk and butter. Melt it in low flame. Switch it off. Add Vanilla essence and mix it 
In another bowl beat yogurt, sugar till very creamy. Add Vanilla essence and mix well. Add dry ingredients to it. mix well. 
Now add Hot milk mixture. Fold it gently till all the ingredients are combined
Pour the mixture in baking tray tap it to level it. Preheat the oven to 180 degree for 10 minutes.
Bake at 180 degree C for about 40 minutes,or insert a toothpick,if inserted toothpick comes out clean then your cake is ready.Let it cool down and slice it to your preference
