Crispy Lemon grass Tofu - Tofu starter recipe - Tofu recipe

I do tofu at home at least 2 to 3 times a week for dinner. Normally I serve it as a starter. I have posted a few Hot and sweet lime tofu, Basil tofu, Pepper Tofu, Sweet and hot Sesame tofu, Pan Fried Tofu.. This evening when I wanted to make Tofu I wanted to make use of lemon grass that I had in the fridge. I love Lemon grass flavour. Normally I add to the tea. Whenever I make the tea the aroma in the house is so amazing. I was not sure whether my kids would like it esp my 2nd one. He loved it. So you can try this differently flavoured Tofu. You can replace Paneer in place of Tofu in this recipe

Ingredients
Tofu - 3 cup (after cutting into 1/2 inc cube)
Lemon Grass - 2 stalks
Soya sauce - 1.5 tablespoon
Chilli sauce - 2 teaspoon (As required)
Tomato sauce - 1 tablespoon
Spring onion - 1 stalk (Medium)
Garlic - 4 pods
Salt to taste
Corn flour - 2 tablespoon
Oil - Require to shallow fry Tofu
Oil - 2 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Pepper - 1 (I have used 1/2 of Red and 1/2 of green)


Method:

Slice the Drained block tofu and add salt and corn flour mix well. Marinate it for 30 to 1 hr. Heat 2 tablespoon of oil Arrange marinated Tofu in single layer
Fry till all sides are brown. Repeat it for all tofu and keep it aside
Heat the pan and add oil. Add garlic, White part of spring onion and fry till garlic is slight brown in color. Add lemon grass.
Add all sauces. Mix well. Sliced bell pepper and salt. Fry till Bell pepper is cooked
Add fried Tofu and mix well till Sauces are coated on to all the pieces of tofu.  Add spring onion and mix well.
Serve hot
