Oats Vegetable Soup

I like anything which is more soupy. I wanted to try some white soup with vegetables. My husband has oats for breakfast just with milk. Last time when my mum visited me she did something like soup. Oats, vegetable and milk. It was perfect combo. I was not in a mood to cook proper lunch as only I was at home for the meal. So decided to do Oats soup. It is quite filling, tasty and above all healthy!
Ingredients
Oats - 1/4 cup
Mixed vegetable - 1/2 cup ( I have used beans, carrot and cauliflower)
Milk - 2 cup
Water  / Vegetable broth - 1 cup
Oil - 1 teaspoon
Pepper powder - 1 teaspoon (adjust to your taste)
Coriander Leaves - 2 tablespoon (finely chopped)
Small onion - 3 (finely chopped)
Ginger - 1 clove (finely chopped)
Garlic - 1/2 inch (finely chopped)

Method:
Heat the kada / Pan or wok. Add oil and when it is hot add onion, Garlic and ginger. Fry till onion is cooked. Add vegetables and fry for another min. Add salt and water. Add Oats and cook it.
When Oats is cooked add milk and pepper. And mix well. let it boil and switch it off. Decorate with coriander leaves
