My family loves the mixture as normally I used to add lot of dry nuts to it. I love the mixtures because of it balanced nature. This cornflakes mixture tastes as good as traditional version of fried one. Who doesn't want to enjoy this guilt free version?
Ingredients
Dry Cornflakes - 2 cups (I have used Kellog cornflakes)
Dry roasted Peanuts - 1/4 cup
Baked Cashews - 2 tablespoon ( I have used it store brought. Otherwise you bake the raw cashew nuts and bake it at 180 degrees for 10 mins)
Roasted Gram Dal (Pottukadalai) - 3 tablespoon
Raisins - 1 tablespoon
Almonds (baked) - 2 tablespoons
Curry leaves - 10-15
Red Chilli powder - 2 teaspoon (adjust to your spice level)
Sugar - 1/2 teaspoon
Salt - to taste
Oil - 2 teaspoon
Method:
Preheat oven at 180 deg C...Line baking paper to baking tray and spread a layer of corn flakes and roast it for 3-5 mins or till brown in color. Set aside.
Heat the kada and add 2 teaspoon of oil. Add Roasted gram, curry leaves, all the nuts and mix well. add suga, salt and red chillies powder and mix well. Add roasted cornflakes and mix well.
Enjoy the guilt free snacks
