I love sneaking in vegetable where-ever possible. After seeing Spinach Ada in Nag's space. I had it in my to do list for a while. Last weekend for the dinner I wanted something quick and something healthy. I had Ada batter in the fridge. So decided to make Spinach ada. My kids who are not big fan of normal ada was pretty happy with it.
Ingredients:
Ada batter - 3 Cups
Spinach - 4 cups (Large bunch)
Salt per taste
Oil - 1 teaspoon & for shallow frying Ada
Method:
Heat the kada and add spinach and cook it with salt. Switch it off and cool it down. When it is cool down grind to smooth paste
Mix in spinach paste with ada batter and mix well. Heat the flat tawa and when it is hot pour 1 full laddle of batter and spread it out wards. Take 1/2 teaspoon of oil. and sprinkle around it. And cook well. Turn to other side and cook well
Serve it with favourite chutney
