Pesarattu (Green Gram Dhal) Dosa

Andhra pesarattu or green gram dhal dosa is my favourite. It is healthy option for the breakfast. Anything without plain white rice goes well with me. it is quite filling this is something I picked up after my marriage now even my mum and grandmother does it quite often


1 cup whole green gram dhal

Onion - 1 (Medium size)
1/2 cup grated onions
1/4 inch piece
4 to 5 chopped green chillies
salt to taste
2  tablespoon White channa


Wash and soak White Channa for 6-7 hours
    Wash the  whole green gram dhal  2 or 3 times, and soak in enough water for 2 hours.
    Drain water from Channa dhal and green gram dhal and grind it along with onion , ginger and green chillies to a smooth batter. Add Salt at the end.
    Heat a dosa pan, pour a spoonful of the batter and spread it from the centre, add a little oil around.
    Cook till the pesarattu becomes crisp and also cook the other top.
