Whenever I buy Methi I end up doing Methi Thepla or Methi Rice. This time I had asked my husband to buy a bunch when he went to Serangoon however he bought a couple of it. Initially I wanted to try Methi mutter Malai but I ran out of cream so I decided to try out this Garlic base gravy for chapathi. Love the flavour of Garlic in any dish and this is not a exception. I followed the recipe from Yummilyyours. For Non garlic and richer version you can refer to Malai Methi Paneer recipe. It will go well with roti / naan or steamed rice too. Even kids who are not found of green leafy vegetable can be tempted with this gravy as this has Paneer (most of the kids love Paneer).Pin It Now!

I love stuffed parathas. Esp right after my marriage I struggled to make soft chappathi /chapathi. Making stuffed chapathi is one way to cover the flaws and it will not turn so hard esp if you make the dough with your stuffings. So I used to do stuffed chapathi more often. I am surprised I didn't post methi chapathi / paratha for this long.Pin It Now!

Mochai Capsicum masala recipe - Field beans bell pepper masala recipe - Vegetarian gravy recipe - Side dish for Roti, fried rice, paratha, Naan
I love field beans / Mochai.. esp fresh one. After moving out to Singapore I got it only maybe once or twice at the most. So always ended up making brinjal sambar / Field beans kulambu. This time I got loads of it from India. So I got to try some new dishes. Raisin is one of most hated dry fruit in our household (except in sweet chutney) but in Singapore I get raisin as prasada so I usually end piling it up. So I decided to use that to make gravy. I have posted Kishmish Kala chana (sweet and hot black chana) before. My family liked it. So I decided to try another gravy with raisin, Red capsicum. So here is the very rich and tasty recipePin It Now!
