Oats Mixed Vegetable Oothappam - oats uttappam - Healthy dinner recipe - Healthy breakfast recipe - Oats recipe - Instant Oats uttapam recipe

I try to include Oats in my family meal at least every alternate days. My kids not big fan of oats Porridge however they like Oats Adai, Oats dosa, Oats Cup Cake, Oats Soup .. I wanted to try this instant uttappam. It is quite filling and healthy. This can be done for dinner or breakfast. This is can be included as part of a diet plan. With mix of vegetable it also provides well balanced meal for the kids
Ingredients

Oats powder - 2 cup (If you don't have Oats Powder roast the quick cooking oats till nice aroma released. and powder it in blender or food processor)
Rice flour - 1/2 cup
Rava (upuma) / Semolina - 1/2 cup
Roasted Urad dhal powder - 1/4 cup
Cooked Mixed vegetable - 1.5 cup ( I have used beans, carrot, cauliflower)
Sat to taste
Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
Green chillies - 2 (finely chopped)
Coriander leaves - 2 tablespoon (finely chopped)
Curry leaves - 10 (finely chopped)
Oil for cooking dosai / dosa

Method:

Mix in Oats powder, rice flour, Rava, Urad dhal flour, Salt, cumin seeds, cooked vegetable and yogurt. Mix it with required water. Batter should be little thick than rava dosa. Add coriander leaves, curry leaves and green chillies and mix well. Leave it aside for 30 mins
Heat the flat pan and take laddle full of batter and spread it. Drizzle oil and cook it. Turn it over and cook on other side
Serve hot with required chutney
