I love any dish which is naturally sweeten with natural sugar.. Fruit based dishes fit the bill very well. I am a fan of Jackfruits I saw this recipe in one of the cookbooks sometime ago.. My son was asking for cheese cake for a while. For some reason I couldn't make it. I wanted to at least try this for his birthday. Finally I made it.. It is pretty easy and the key to a good cake is that all ingredients has to be in room temperature. My kids loved every bit of it. When I went on a diet my consultant advised to eat Cheese cake if I want to have any dessert.. Don't ask me whether it is healthy or not.. I visited one of my sister's friend during last year Golu. My sister keeps very big golu every year. Last year my mum was visiting her too. So we had a good time. I was there for 2 days I ended up visiting about 5-6 houses. I had this ladoo at one of the houses. Before having this I thought it was moong dal ladoo. After my first bite I realized it is urad dhal. I loved it. I make urad dhal porridge for my breakfast. So love this version of sweet. It is one of the healthier Ladoo.. I love Ragi in any form .. I have posted Ragi murukku. I always live the flavour of Ragi in these kind of Savoury snacks.Whenever I go to India it is a must. I wanted to make Ragi Ribbon Murukku for this diwali. When I was discussing this with the kids my helper was suggesting to combine Wheat and Ragi and very little rice flour. I tried and it came out pretty well. Only thing is when she made the dough I was bit scary after seeing the consistency of the dough. It was bit more watery than normal murukku dough.
