Jowar Dosa - Sorghum Dosa - Cholam Dosa - Healthy breakfast Recipe - Healthy Dinner recipe

I love to try different flavours of dosa. My kids love dosa over idli. I also find that it is difficult to go wrong with Dosa and if you cannot make crispy dosa you can convert to uttappam. Jowar is high in nutrients. In my family it is called  jonnalu dosa. But we get to do it only during season. But now a days you get these grains through out  the year. It is definitely good alternative / change to regular dosa. It is so simple to make good healthy breakfast or dinner
Ingredients

Jowar / Sorghum  - 2 cups
Idli rice  or raw rice - 1 cup
Urad dhal - 1 cup
Fenugreek seeds - 1/8 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Oil for cooking dosa

Method:

Wash and soak the rice, jowar, Fenugreek seeds for 10-12 hours or overnight. Wash and soak urad dhal separately
Grind the urad dhal till it is fluffy. Remove it. Now add rice, Jowar and grind to smooth paste.
Now add Urad dhal batter, Salt and grind for another 1 to 2 mins. Ferment it for 6 hours. 
Heat the flat  pan and pour laddle full of batter and spread it outwards and make dosa. Drizzle oil around it. and cook till brown spot appears. Fold it and remove it. Repeat the process
Serve hot with your chutney
