Lemon Grass Ginger Tea

I am more of tea person. I love Green tea. I take at least 2 cups a day. Once in a while will take milk tea mainly in the form of Masala Tea. Recently I tried Lemon grass and Ginger it is really addictive in addition it has all the health benefits. So these days this is quite normal during my weekend
Ingredients
Below is for 1 cup I have doubled up for 2 cup Milk - 1 cup (I have used slim milk. If you use full cream then use 1/2 cup Milk and 1/2 Cup water)
Lemon Grass - 2 tablespoon ( I love the taste of it if you not a big fan reduce it to 1 or 1.5)
Sugar - 1 teaspoon (per taste)
Ginger - 1 tablespoon
Tea Bag - 1 or Tea powder - 1 tablespoon

Method

Remove the top layer and take white portion of lemon grass and chop it into 1 inch pieces. Chop ginger into small pieces. Crush Ginger and Lemon grass using hand pestle.

Heat one cup of water. When start to bubble on the side add sugar, crushed lemon grass, ginger and tea bag/powder. Boil for 3-4 mins or till you get the color of your preference
Add Milk Reduce the flame and simmer it for 7-10 mins or till u see tea color of your preference. Switch it off and filter the Tea and discard the tea powder, lemon grass and ginger (it has done it's job).
Enjoy the tea.
