Potato Fry


I heard usually kids love Potato. My kids are opposite to that.. They not even found of french fries. So we seldom use Potato (except aloo paratha). It is the first vegetable I did when I started cooking.. Well the taste is better now after so many years now. This recipe is so easy and fast way to make.


Ingredients:



Potato – 4 Nos (Medium size)
Curry leaves – few
Sambar powder – 1 tablespoon
Turmeric powder – ½ teaspoon

Cron Flour - 1 tablespoon
Salt – 1 teaspoon
Oil – 4 tablespoon
Mustard – 1/4 teaspoon
Urad dhal – 2 teaspoon
Asafotida powder - a pinch 



Ginger Garlic Paste - 2 teaspoon



Method:
Pressure cook the potatos till soft.
Remove the skin and cut it into medium size pieces.
In a kadai put the oil and when it is hot add mustard. When it pops up add asafotida powder, urad dhal and fry till it become light brown. Add Ginger Garlic paste and curry leaves and fry till nice aroma comes. 
Add potato pieces. Sprinkle turmeric powder, sambar powder and salt. Mix well so that potato is coated with masala evenly
When it is half done add Corn flour and mix well
Keep the stove low and stir the potatos now and then till the potato is roasted (brown in color)
