Chocolate Chip Cookies



I did making cookies long time ago I think it is about 10 years ago. It didn't come out well. Again I did with my mum yet another failure. So decided not to try again. My office colleague who is very good in baking sometime bring her tasty cookies to office. My kids wanted to try it for long time so decided to give it a try one more time (given that I have change oven recently). I got this recipe from my colleague.  My neighbor's son does some baking so I have decided get his guidance as well. It turnout to be pretty good. My kids gave me pass mark with distinction



Ingredients:
Butter (Room Temp) - 160g
All purpose flour - 200g
Caster Sugar - 80g 
Chocolate Chip - 3/4 cup (Semi sweetened)
Vanilla Essence - tablespoon (optional)
Nuts of your choice (Optional)
Baking soda - a pinch (Optional)


I didn't add any optional material


Method:


Beat butter and sugar till creamy
Fold in the flour
Put it in Fridge for 1/2 an hour
Bake it at 180 degree for 30 mins till it is golden brown
